I was in the audience not far from the stage, when this irate guy pushed Frank Zappa off the stage into the orchestra pitch. At the time I was convinced it was the jealous boy friend of a girl from the audience who had got on stage with Zappa. She was getting carried away almost to the point of having public sex with Zappa on the stage. There might be a harmless explanation or the girl might even have been part of the act, but that's what it looked like to me at the time.
