AIRIES [3-5 / 60º-75º], one of the constellations in the "One Size Fits All" (1975) "universe", has a star named "Sheraton", a reference to the hotel chain.

- In Champagne Lecture, Aynsley Dunbar refers to an anecdote in the Sheraton Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida: "You get a Polaroid camera and you make one good jump, from a balcony to another balcony on the seventh floor of the Sheraton Hotel in Jacksonville"
