Eric White
Eric White (b. 1968) is an American painter, graphic designer and illustrator. His work is strongly influenced by Hollywood film imagery and photos. White has designed albums covers for musical acts like Korn, Incubus and Tyler, The Creator.[1]
Frank Zappa
White is a Zappa fan since high school. He once had the opportunity to go see a Zappa concert, thanks to a friend who had a ticket, but he said he was too afraid to go, which he regards as his biggest regret. [2]
During a solo gallery, one of his paintings was bought by Gail Zappa. [3]
White and Sherry Spencer designed the cover of Frank Zappa's album Trance-Fusion (2006), with White focusing on the collage elements. [4] White also designed the cover of the DVD Dub Room Special (2005). [5] The painting used for this DVD cover was auctioned in 2016, after Zappa's former home in 7885 Woodrow Wilson Drive was sold.
