Irving Berlin
Irving Berlin (May 11, 1888 - September 22, 1989) was a Russian-born American songwriter and composer. He wrote several songs and compositions that have become evergreens and are still covered today, like Alexander's Ragtime Band (1911), God Bless America (1918), Always (1925), Blue Skies (1926), Puttin' on the Ritz (1930), Cheek to Cheek (1932), Let's Face the Music and Dance (1936), God Bless America (1941), White Christmas (1942) and There's No Business Like Show Business (1946), to name a few.
Berlin also wrote music for several Broadway musicals and Hollywood films.
