Jack Anesh was an American graphic designer/art director for Verve/MGM throughout the 1960s.

In 1966, Anesh designed the cover for Freak Out!, while the photos themselves were taken by Ray Leong.

Anesh has additionally designed album covers by John Lee Hooker (And Seven Nights) [1966], Connie Francis (My Heart Cries For You [1967]), Astrud Gilberto (Beach Samba [1967]), Roy Orbison (Cry Softly Lonely One [1967]), Duke Ellington (Soul Call [1967]) and various classical music albums and also children's records.
