Pachuko Hop is a 1952 song by Chuck Higgins And The Mellotones (Combo 45-12, 1952), with musical accompaniment by John Watson, Eli Toney and Joe Ursery. It was Higgins' first release on Jake Porter's label Combo Records. The B-side was a tune called Motorhead Baby, which was to become the inspiration for Jim Sherwood's nickname.
The Mothers of Invention performed the song on stage and referred to it in the lyrics of [[Jelly Roll Gum Drop]] and Debra Kadabra.
