Certain objects in Zappa's lyrics are often referred to as having a bad or cheap aroma:

• Dirty Love: "I'll ignore your cheap aroma".
• Dental Hygiene Dilemma: "It's still damp! What an aroma!"
• For The Young Sophisticate: "A radiator bad aroma" (...)"Or radia-iaate, or radia-ia-ia-iate a Butzis aroma" (this song was originally titled "Another Cheap Aroma")
• Jewish Princess: "With a garlic aroma that could level Tacoma."
