Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking (1942) is a British scientist and cosmologist. He is the author of "A Brief History Of Time" (1989) and best known for his theories on cosmology and quantum gravity. Hawking suffers from a neuro-muscular dystrophy that is related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a condition that has progressed over the years and has left him almost completely paralysed.
