Kris Peterson

Kris Peterson is an elusive soul/R&B vocalist from Detroit. She may well have recorded with producer Artie Fields in the late 1960's and worked with George Clinton/Parliament. Recorded an album "A Child's Dream" (SFS-6011) for Richie Havens' Stormy Forest label around the same time that she overdubbed vocals on Your Mouth for Waka/Jawaka.

Sang with Blue Spirit Tribe in the 1990's.

Not too elusive....I have never worked , recorded or otherwise with The Parliament-Funkadelic. I did do some background work with "Jobriath", Eddie Kramer's artist while I was recording "A Child's Dream". Jobriath's masters were recently bought from Kramer by Morrissey and have been re- released. Back in Detroit. What a challenge!!!
