Louie Louie was a song written by Richard Berry, and is one of the most simple rock tunes to play. In the 1960s, it was also a highly-requested song and very much overplayed (it has been considered the original "Smells Like Teen Spirit", for example).
Louie Louie was also musically quoted by FZ ad nauseum, alternatively praised and loathed by him due to it's simple harmony and catchy melody, and because it was overplayed so much.
Louie Louie shows up in the following songs:
- Son of Suzy Creamcheese is almost a direct parody of the song, with added time signature changes and of course different lyrics.
Trivia
- Alice Stuart got fired from The Mothers because she couldn't play "Louie Louie".
