Leonard Allen

Leonard Allen, name-checked on the cover of "Freak Out!" (1966) under the heading "These People Have Contributed Materially In Many Ways To Make Our Music What It Is. Please Do Not Hold It Against Them", was a boyhood friend of FZ, when he was living in Edgewood (15 Dexter Street), Maryland. Allen was equally interested in chemistry, and FZ used to go over to his place to work on "experiments". He is also mentioned "The Real Frank Zappa Book" (1989). During the same period in time FZ had two other friends: Paddy McGrath and Paul "from Panama".
