Roelof Kiers (1938-1994) was a Dutch film director and documentary maker. He was the first Dutchman allowed to film in China in 1971. He made documentaries about various Dutch politicians, the race riots in Detroit (1967) and filmed the only interview Indonesian politician Mohammed Hatta ever gave.
Kiers also directed the documentaries "Frank Zappa" (February 11, 1971) and " Frank Zappa Filmt 200 Motels" (December 23, 1971).
