'Been changing some incomplete/faulty information here. First of all, I've changed his instruments from "(saxophone/clarinet)" to "(flute/alto saxophone/bass clarinet)", ans second of all, he did not die of a brain tumor. He died from undiagnosed diabetes in Berlin. It was though he was stoned, but in fact, the levels of glucose in his blood were very low. Instead of giving him the sugar he needed, he was put in a room to sober up, and died.
