Boredoms ((ボアダムス ("Boadamusu")) are a Japanese experimental noise rock band, active since 1986. They have become a cult band due to their eccentric stage shows and crazy, wild music. In 1989, band member Yamantsuka Eye became friends with Sonic Youth and this helped them to become notorious in the United States as well. Boredoms also collaborated with John Zorn and found celebrity fans like Kurt Cobain and Matt Groening.

In 1999, three of the group's members, Yamamoto Seiichi, ATR and Hilah compiled their favorite Zappa tracks and released them on CD as Yamamoto Seiichi, ATR, Hilah From Boredoms Meets Frank Zappa.
