Buckminster Fuller (July 12, 1895 - July 1, 1983) was an American architect, inventor, engineer, writer and philosopher. He is most famous as the inventor of the geodesic dome.
Fuller felt architecture should be ecological and therefore opposed waste and superficial styling.
John Denver's song "What One Man Can Do" is a tribute to Fuller. In dEUS' song The Architect, samples of Fuller's voice are included.
