Artis the Spoon Man (October 3, 1948) is a street performer, flautist and percussionist.

He provided "flatware" percussion for Civilization Phaze III, and for the unreleased Dance Me This. He appeared on stage with Zappa in Eugene Oregon on 10/4/81, and at New York's Palladium 10/30/81.

He wrote the book Aspirations to Manifestations from the Womb to the Void (Hulogosi Communications, Incorporated, June 1993, ISBN: 0938493205) and also appeared on the album Superunknown (1994) by Soundgarden.
