The Illinois Enema Bandit
Frank Zappa wrote the song Legend Of The Illinois Enema Bandit about Kenyon. He heard about the criminal on a local radio station in Chicago. Intrigued by the news he wanted to know more about Kenyon's deeds. The first half of the song describes real life events about Kenyon, but the second half (the court case) is more a parody of traditional blues songs like Willie Dixon's "Back Door Man".
