Tanino Liberatore, Frank Zappa and Stefano Tambourini

Gaetano Liberatore (April 12th, 1953, Quadri, Italy) is an Italian comics author and illustrator. He created the very successful cartoon character RanXerox, a bionic muscle-man sporting an artificial, electronic brain, with his partner Stefano Tambourini in 1979.

Painted the cover art for The Man From Utopia (1982). Years before that he already drew pictures of Zappa.
