VIRGIL [8-10 / 15º-(-30º)], one of the constellations in the "One Size Fits All" (1975) "universe", has a star named "Canal".
Canal refers to the Canal Street in Manhattan, New York City, and the Canal Street Station, part of the New York subway. Note that several other closeby stars on the map also refer to the New York subway: 125th, Lenox and Houston.
