Stripcombers was a biker bar at 8301 Sunset Boulevard on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. In 1969, it became a vegetarian restaurant, under the new name The Source.
Frank Zappa "advertised" Stripcombers in the sleeve of Freak Out!, under the header "Freak Out! Hot Spots"... . He described it as follows: "The Stripcombers is HAPPENING for black leather jackets and motorcycle boots if that is your bag.
