"Wild Man" Fischer, a mentally disturbed street singer 'discovered' by Zappa, recorded a double album for Zappa's Bizarre label - "An Evening With Wild Man Fischer", some of it with Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, the rest of it solo, giving full vent to nonmetrical original material. A certified paranoid schizophrenic and acid casualty, Larry was born in los angeles in 1945. By the mid-'60s, he had become a fixture along L.A.'s famed Sunset Strip.

Larry provided vocals for the [[Beat The Boots]] series disk [[Our Man In Nirvana (BTB)]].

(Edit. note: "Rest in Peace, Cub")

Mentioned during "[[Star Special]]", FZ as a guest DJ on BBC Radio 1 in 1982.
