5.1 surround sound?

Despite having DTS and Dolby modes on my system, and getting the correct sound effect from QuAUDIOPHILIAc, this ONLY plays in stereo for me...

Well I am sorry for you, I don't mean you will get an incredible difference in 5.1 but it is always a bad thing not to have your system 100% operationnal.

I just checked again with mine and I get separate sound on the 5 speakers.

Could you tell me your a/v receiver & player model and the way they are linked? Are you using s/pdif connectors?
