The Chieftans, or at least a few of them, played at the  Friday "soirees" at zappa's home in february 1993, along with other 'guests' like [[Terry Bozzio]], [[L. Shankar]], [[Johnny "Guitar" Watson]], and the Tuvan Throat Singers. One of these parties is featured in the A&E Biography and  the BBC Special on FZ. 8 of the 12 tracks for The Chieftans "The Celtic Harp" were recorded at [[UMRK]] - Zappa contributed uncredited. From the liner notes: "a most memorable session with our Celtic cousin, Mr. Tom Jones, recorded at the Zappa's residence under the bemused and watchful eye of Frank himself.  In memory of Frank Zappa."
