I have the original (European) LP, and it says "Humm"; I also have the Ryko CD, and it says "Humm".
What more can I say? --Emdebe 09:19, 26 Jan 2007 (PST)

I too have the Ryko CD and it says HUMM and HUM --- but I think there is more HUMM than HUM, hmm?
So what the Fmmm!

empty pages

Hi MDB
there are some pages by me that are empty because I changed name and/or category thus orphaning it:

  1. Prepared_Statement_Of_Mr._Zappa (0 bytes)
  2. Letter_from_FZ_to_President_Reagan (0 bytes)
  3. Extortion,_Pure_and_Simple... (0 bytes)
  4. It's_Not_Over_Yet,_Folks! (0 bytes)
  5. Senate_Committee (0 bytes)
  6. PMRC_Letter (0 bytes)
  7. The_Zappa_Affair (0 bytes)
  8. Italian_actresses (0 bytes)

I don't know how to delete them, so please ...

futhermore: I don't know how I would add a page for example in the (CC) department, now that you have cancelled the manually added index. What is the right procedure? Until now I went to that manual list in edit mode, put in the new line, saved the page, etc. – as far I can see, that is possible within the Bibliography category but not in the CC department

Ok, I deleted the pages.

I do not understand your second point. Do you mean you cannot edit Category:Conceptual Continuity?

Maroual 05:51, 14 Mar 2007 (PDT)

Most of the Categories start with a manual list for convenience; once all pages are tagged with the right Category, manual lists are being removed – in this case it was perhaps a bit early… Nevertheless you can still do whatever you did, when you go to a page were you can put a reference to the …(CC)-page. You can always create a new page by typing it in the address bar of your browser, like "http://wiki.killuglyradio.com/index.php/blablabla" (without the quotes), and hitting the Enter/Return key. --Emdebe 11:26, 14 Mar 2007 (PDT)

Manual vs. automatical categorizing

Hi MDB
As you are one of the top-level admins, I guess – let me beg you not ever to loose the chronological order of all the interviews or articles and so forth like it has in the manual list of the bibliograph section. I fear this is planned once (although that day might never come) all interviews and articles are gathered. I think that it is an important feature to browse the articles in their chonology, but in the automatic order when ones accesses them via the subcategories they are ordered alphabetically, which doesn't make sense really ...

Propellerkuh 12:38, 12 Apr 2007 (PDT)

I think we will eventually need a year category so that the chronology of everything can be followed.

Duncan 23:42, 12 Apr 2007 (PDT)

TOP-LEVEL ADMIN, yeah, I like that.... ;-)
but I do everything Duncan says... ;-)

My Humblest Apology

Hi Emdebe, Maroual and Duncan
Please be so kind and pardon my un-scientific and hasty "Moggio"-contribution like it being an Italian village (which it indeed is) and all that Maggio and other stuff around ... and thanks for cleaning up the mess after me.

Propellerkuh

Hi Propellerkuh,

You're welcome.

Lyrics pages

Hi Emdebe, thanks for the new songs lyrics format. It does look good and convenient.

The only bad thing is that it will require a shitload of work ;-)

(Please explain the relation with FZ. Tx.)

Hi Emdebe ...

the thing is ... I was looking at the "Wanted Pages" at Special:Specialpages and saw a lot of names, places andsuch by whoever thought fit to contribute and widen the spectrum of the Zappa-image; I tried to get rid of those red links. So it was not me to think it would be helpful to know who for example Art Tatum were; and mostly the Wanderers of the Web would surely come from some other Zappa Wiki page already knowing what connects William S. Burroughs with Zappa.

I tried to fill in when the connection was first hand; but when the connection became a little far-fetched I let go. Should we unlink the links?

Propellerkuh

The more links, the more fun. As long as the relation is clear to everybody. --Emdebe 08:16, 14 May 2007 (PDT)

FZ Seventies ASCII Artwork

I don't get the FZ Seventies ASCII Artwork page, where I've commented. It needs some introduction, and links from other pages. Otherwise, it might get deleted. I hope you are still here and are reading these messages. PopFanDoug (talk) 16:38, 5 October 2019 (PDT)
