So why do they not have their own pages?  Why delete the track listing for the CD version when that is the version that most people will have and the version they can still buy today?  Why is this discography a constant source of frustration for me? Why should I (or anybody else) bother with any of this?

It doesn't have to be: that's what "disambiguation pages" are for, I guess... There are after all 2 seperate albums (LPs) and only 1 CD, right? --[[User:Emdebe|Emdebe]] 13:15, 7 Aug 2005 (PDT)

There was a "Mystery Disc" in 1985, together with the first "Old Masters". There was a "Mystery Disc 2" in 1986, together with the second "Old Masters". And then there was the "Mystery Disc" CD... emdebe

So why do they not have their own pages? Why delete the track listing for the CD version when that is the version that most people will have and the version they can still buy today? Why is this discography a constant source of frustration for me? Why should I (or anybody else) bother with any of this?

I can imagine that the Wiki "community" will be divided (again) over this one...
Contrary to you ("Why is this Discography so painfully labyrinthine?"), I'm in a rather good mood today... ;-)
so I could settle for 1 page (that mentions the existence of two albums, of course).
Nice word though, "labyrinthine"... ;-)

So, some time ago (see above), you were frustrated because there were multiple pages.
Now you are frustrated because there is only one page.
Is this becoming a hobby, or something?
What exactly is it what you want?
Why can't you just recreate the CD track list, if it means so much to you?
