Pétrouchka (in English Petrushka, in Russian Петрушка) is a ballet in four tableaux whose music was composed by Igor Stravinsky in 1910-1911, the plot was inspired from the Russian folklore. A revised edition for a smaller orchestra was written in 1947.
The cover by Zappa and the Mothers is listed as Pétrouska or Petroushka on 'Tis The Season To Be Jelly (BTB).
A short theme from Petrushka is cited in Status Back Baby, as expained by FZ in TRFZB (page 167): "I'm Losing Status at the High School jumps into the opening figure of Petrushka".
