Monterey is a city in California. In 1967, Monterey hosted the Monterey Pop Festival.[1]

In 1951, Frank Zappa's family lived in Monterey, California for eight months, before moving to Pacific Grove in the same state. In 1953, they moved again, this time to Claremont. [1]
