George Winston (1949) is an American jazz pianist.

He cites Frank Zappa as one of his influences, especially the Hot Rats album. In an 2001 interview Winston mentioned he is possessed by Zappa's music these days. Winston often covers songs and compositions by his favorite artists, but adds his own improvised interpretations to the performances. On his album "Montana- A Love Story" (2004) he covered Zappa's Little House I Used To Live In. Winston said that "The Little House I Used to Live In" uncannily reminded him of his boyhood home even before he knew the piece's title.
