Twisted Sister was an American glam rock/metal group, who were very popular during the 1980s. They're best known for their hits "We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore" and "I Wanna Rock" (1984).

Lead singer Dee Snider later testified against the proposal of the PMRC to censor rock music lyrics.

Zappa referenced the group during his concerts in the 1980s when he changed the line "Her favorite group was Helen Reddy" from Honey Don't You Want A Man Like Me into "Twisted Sister".
