Vocal group popular with the regulars at El Monte Legion Stadium during the late 1950's with support from Art Laboe and promoter Hal Zieger.

They recorded "Dreamy Eyes" (Original Sound 15) in 1961 with Laboe and backed Cleve Duncan (as The Peguins) on Memories Of El Monte

The Viceroys featured the voice of Jimmy Conwell. He went onto to record throughout the late 1960's as a solo artist and with The Exits. The Viceroys reformed and recorded as The Light Drivers. Although Conwell failed to find much success at the time his records became very collectable amongst soul fans.
