The El Dorados were an American doo-wop group, best known for their song "At My Front Door" (1955) and "I'll Be Forever Loving You" (1956).

Zappa played their song "I'll Be Forever Loving You" in 1973, while he was a guest DJ at Dr. Demento. And Zappa mentioned the hook of "At My Front Door" while discussing "early rock 'n' roll vocal groups"[1] in his 1969 Pop Chronicles interview.[2]
