FZ named it More Trouble Every Day why are we renaming it? Duncan 14:59, 4 May 2005 (PDT)

"Trouble"? "Oh No"? --Emdebe 17:09, 4 May 2005 (PDT)

Or none of the above - as FZ decided to name them. Duncan 17:11, 4 May 2005 (PDT)

Que? --Emdebe 02:13, 5 May 2005 (PDT)

Dunc: in the article you posted just recently, FZ refers to it as "The Watts Riots Song or Trouble Every Day". Must say I didn't know it was called that way initially (without the "More")... - KillUglyRadio 02:36, 5 May 2005 (PDT)

That was the original version. This is a later 70's "Nixon" version. Nixon was a Son Of Orange County which is why FZ did not call this track Oh No (although that is where the lyric is from) or Orange County Lumber Truck (or whatever it is called). he also did not call the next track pairing Trouble Every Day (although that is what it is) but More Trouble Every Day - The significance of this is lost if we just link back to the original 60's Watts Riots version.

Hmmm yes. Which means we'd need two "Trouble Every Day" pages (one with "More", one without), right? - KillUglyRadio 02:54, 5 May 2005 (PDT)

Worse than that! FZ would often change songs to suit where they were playing or stuff that was happening in the news. So if you are covering concerts/bootlegs you are going to need a separate entry for each and every variation - if we are going to be definitive about this stuff :-) There's an interview somewhere where FZ complains that the record company just wanted them to perform the songs "straight" so they could put out a live album but he points out that they rarely did them "straight"

Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance exists in about 5 or 6 variations are they all the same or is each one unique (although the same!)?

Duncan 03:06, 5 May 2005 (PDT) - who is now going to work :-(

What will be the outcome of all this? --Emdebe 11:00, 9 May 2005 (PDT)
