Timings on the LP edition

Our rule for the LPs is to take what is actually printed on the original edition, whatever true or false. Footnotes can be used to provide with additional details when required.

The timings on this page are taken from the original LP edition I bought in the US. Remark: only the sleeve has timings, nothing is printed on the label.

Versions

Please don't get me wrong Zarank, this versions tab has been mainly built from the Zappa Patio as I do only own the initial LP edition and a 1995 CD.

Basically, I agree that the "remix" word looks a bit strong to describe the very small differences (if any) that can be heard between these 2 editions.

I have alwys been suspicious regarding the comments on this particular Zappa Patio page.

This versions section remains open to discussion and updates, however prior to editing, some justifications on this talk page are welcome.

As for this album, it is not a remix at all.

The one used by "The Old Masters Box" can be used also with the following CD. As for it, a few reverberant sounds and edits are given.

I do not think that it is appropriate to call it a remix. (If you follow other pages of this Wiki. )

UK Issues

Apologies - a bit rusty on editing.
I wanted to clarify some UK's:
The first UK in versions is a 'Tri-color' label.

The 2nd (K prefix) is a 'tan' label - but NO mini 'W' logo in radius text. Reissue
Run-out Matrix A; K-44083-AI RSLP 6370 AI and B; K-44083-BI RSLP 6370 BI

There is a 3rd (K prefix same cat# as 2nd) with a mini 'W' in radius text. Reissue
Run-out Matrix A; K-44083-A1 RSLP 6370 A1 and B; K-44083-B2
(No RSLP on side B)
This also has "Distributed by WEA" inside-left sleeve.
The cover has the R logo 'knocked out of the 4-color set' in a white panel.

I tried an edit, but couldn't resolve the rows/columns formulae :)
