Sting, aka Mr. Sting, born Gordon Sumner on 10/2/1951 in Wallsend, England, sat-in with [[The Mothers]] on 3/3/1988 in Chicago, IL and provided vocal for [[Broadway The Hard Way]]. In a thank-you note after the performance, Sting wrote, "Please mail me the sheet music for [[The Idiot Bastard Son]], you won't be sorry. Love, Mr. Sting." Recordings exist of Sting performing this on his '88 tour.
