Julius Fučík (18 July 1872- 15 September 1916) was a Czech composer and conductor of military bands. He is best remembered for his composition, "Entrance of the Gladiators" (1897), which is often used as circus music.

Zappa referenced "Entry of the Gladiators" three times in his work: America Drinks, The Adventures Of Greggery Peccary and Rhymin' Man.
