Haskell Wexler (Chicago, Illinois, February 6, 1926) is an American film director, best known for his film Medium Cool (1969), which featured music of The Mothers of Invention.

Later he was active as photographer for many of Zappa's video projects, like Video From Hell, The True Story Of 200 Motels and Uncle Meat (The Film).

His voice can be heard on the track Uncle Meat Film Excerpt.

In 1996 he was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
