Gotan Project is a French trio formed in 1999. Their music, a fusion between argentinian and electronic musics, has accents of trip-hop, house and jazz. In Argentinian lunfardo and in French verlan (kinds of slang based on syllables inversion), Gotan actually means Tango. The band covered only one Zappa track: Chunga's Revenge.

Conceptual Continuity

The title La Revancha Del Tango might be an allusion to La Revancha De Chunga which is the Argentinian title of the album Chunga's Revenge.
