Bufferin Man is featured in the back row of people on the cover of We're Only In It For The Money. He (she) is apparently taken from a 1950's Bufferin print ad campaign showing how Bufferin works fast to relieve pain. An example, from Life Magazine dated 7/17/1950 is shown here

According to the ad, Bufferin Man is a "mechanical drawing of the human body", shown at the moment the human is taking Bufferin.

Bufferin Man was used in TV commercials too, as shown here and here.
