Alfonso Cuarón (1961) is a Mexican film director, best known for films like Y Tu Mamá También (2001), "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) and "Pan's Labyrinth" (2006).

He wrote the script for Y Tu Mamá También (2001) while listening endlessly to Watermelon In Easter Hay. "We owe so much to Zappa. The tone of that song is the mood we were aiming for", claimed Cuarón. [1] The song is included on the soundtrack with special permission by Gail Zappa, even though Zappa's will stated that the song may never be used on any album except Joe's Garage. [2]

Alfonso Cuarón was also mentioned and thanked in the liner notes of The MOFO Project/Object (2006) album. [3]
