David Samuels, born 10/9/1948 in Waukegan, IL, talented vibraphonist and marimba player, gained his greatest fame for his many years with Spyro Gyra. Samuels "guested" with The Mothers on numerous occasions starting with Valentine's Day 1969. Dave provided timpani and/or vibes for Zappa In New York, You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 4, You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore Vol. 6, and Läther.
