Blue Grotto was a coffeehouse in Los Angeles, located on N. Fairfax Avenue, a block south of Santa Monica Boulevard. There was a back room where musicians could perform. The Blue Grotto closed down in the late 1960s and moved to Melrose Avenue.

Frank Zappa "advertised" it in the artwork of Freak Out!, under the header Freak Out! Hot Spots.
