"All Night John" Kilgore provided chorus for Lumpy Gravy, Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar set, Frank Zappa Meets The Mothers Of Prevention, and Civilization Phaze III. He can be heard during the track Bit Of Nostalgia, where he asks: "How do you get your water so dark?"[1]

Kilgore was an 'apprentice' engineer, staff producer & night manager at John Townley's Apostolic Studios from 1967 to 1969. His night manager role provided his nickname "All Night John".

Kilgore has worked on sound design for a number of films and was staff engineer at Vanguard Records, NYC., from 1974 to 1976 and Director of Recording Services for Masque Sound & Recording from 1986 to 2005.
