Deon Estus

Deon Estus (July 4, 1956 - 11 October 2021) was an American bass player, best known as a member of Wham! and George Michael.
Frank Zappa
An incorrect claim states that Estus was once a member of Zappa's band, or recorded with him. In fact, he did neither. Interviewed by Steve Cooper, Estus explained that he in fact once played with Zappa band member Vinnie Colaiuta (in the early 1980s): "I played with Zappa's band, Carlos Rios, Vinnie Colaiuta, I didn't do any touring with Zappa... I didn't go out on the road with him or record any stuff with him."
Nevertheless, many sources, particularly after Estus' death, have still repeated the urban legend that he once played with Zappa. [1] [2] [3] [4]
