Melody Maker, published in the United Kingdom, was (until its closure in 2000) the world's oldest weekly music newspaper.[1] In 1967 they published a page 1 article on Zappa.[2] In 1969 they published 3 articles about Zappa and the Mothers of Invention.[3]
