Electric Lady Studios is a recording studio in Greenwich Village, 52 West 8th St. New York, built in 1970 at the commission of Jimi Hendrix.

Frank Zappa, Tony Duran and Jack Bruce jammed at Electric Lady Studios in 1972. Zappa also recorded music for Apostrophe (') in this studio. [1] Down In De Dew (on Läther) is an outtake from these sessions. [2]
