Canter's Deli is a Jewish style delicatessen restaurant in Los Angeles, California.
In The Real Frank Zappa Book, Zappa said that he had seen Lenny Bruce at this particular restaurant a few times. He also said that the L.A.P.D. and the Sherrifs Department kept places like Canter's Deli under constant surveillance, because of all the freaks that frequently hung out there.
