Trio Cucamonga

The Trio Cucamonga was a 1985-1990 Belgian group, consisting of Marc Matthys (grand piano), Viviane Spanoghe (cello) and Jenny Spanoghe (violin).They recorded a selection of pieces by Zappa arranged by Luc Brewaeys for their chamber trio.

The recording, The Trio Cucamonga plays Frank Zappa, was released by the Belgium label BRT (DCD 99.001) in 1990, produced by Zjakki Willems. The pieces included in the recording were (links to YouTube):

Frank Zappa: "No. In fact, I was not notified that there was even a performance, and we received nothing."
