Cosmo Alley was a small club in Hollywood.  It was started in 1957 by [[Herb Cohen]] and Victor Maymudes. (They had previously run the Unicorn folk club on Sunset Blvd).  Cosmo Allley was popular with young actors and musicians.  [[Lenny Bruce]] and [[Lord Buckley]] would often perform there.  By the early 1960's the club was in financial trouble and Cohen fled the US for a few years.
