Billy Connolly states in his live stage performance in the series 'Billy Connolly, world tour of Australia' that he is a fan of Zappa. He adds that he used to pass Zappa's house, wishing he could have met FZ. He recalls that Gail Zappa told him that Zappa was an admirer. Billy appears frustrated at this missed opportunity. He also talks of Zappa being President of the US with glee!
"After Frank died, Billy was walking the dogs past Frank's house when Mrs. Zappa came out. 'Are you Billy Connolly,' she asked. 'Frank was your biggest fan.'"
