Sting, aka Mr. Sting, born Gordon Sumner on 10/2/1951 in Wallsend, England, sat-in with The Mothers on 3/3/1988 in Chicago, IL and provided vocal for Broadway The Hard Way. In a thank-you note after the performance, Sting wrote, "Please mail me the sheet music for The Idiot Bastard Son, you won't be sorry. Love, Mr. Sting." Recordings exist of Sting performing this on his '88 tour.
